The Fall Bite Is Here! We fished a full day and ended up with about 70 fish caught, 45-50 keepers. In the morning we had a North wind come up which made the top water bite a little tough so we went to crank baits off the rock ledges, which landed two nice keeper Largemouth within the first 15 minutes. We moved into Shep's Canyon where the water was calm and went back to top water. On my partner's second cast a 3 1/2lb Smallmouth took his ChugBug for a ride. We ended the day by chasing the schools of shad with ratl-traps and spinner baits. All and all it was a great day and hopefully we can get a few more in before that hateful four letter word shows up "SNOW".
