Fishing on Rayburn is getting hot right now. Yesterday I fished with Sally and Joe Roher from Houston. We had a great day and caught over twenty fish most of them they caught before lunch. Today the fishing was even better. Today is the first day in a four day trip with Pat Jergens and his son Jim from Michigan. We started in a big fog bank on the lake, catching over thirty bass. After taking the afternoon off we went back out at 4pm and caught another twenty bass. The lake is really putting out some fish right now. Rayburn just fishes great in the fall. Most of our fish came on watermelon candy, and red bug wacky worms fished in three to seven feet deep. Some fish were caught on flukes, spinner baits, and top water baits. We also caught fish on some deeper structures on a carolina rigged worms and centipedes. If you are looking to do some great fall fishing, call me and set up a trip before Thanksgiving. With so much shallow grass this year, its going to be lots of fun. I do have Oct. 7th and 8th open this week which is this Thursday and Friday. Call me and we will get you out on the lake.
