Due to the cold weather and snow that we have had over the past few days fishing has slowed way down. We fished our first tournament of year 2000 today and had a very mild turn-out. Maybe because it snowed on us part of the morning. 9 people fished with a total of 42 Bass weighed in. 11.04 lbs. won and my partner placed second with 9.56 lbs. Big Bass was weighed in at 4.58lbs. Most Bass were caught on medium running crank baits and Rat-L-Traps. I think that every fish caught today came off of rock points except a few that did make it into the shallows after it warmed up. The weather is supposed to warm up so hopefully the fishing will pick up some before the end of the season.
