Fished lake Powell Oct. 15-24th. The weather was to nice, sunny, no wind, clear water makes for a tough bite. The worst fall fishing I have ever seen at Powell , guess I am spoiled . we only caught about 20 fish per day (usually get over 100 fish per day) The 24th we did get a good morning bite ( 2 Largemouth over 4 lbs. and 4 smallmouth over 2 lbs.) all were realeased. The stripers were almost inactive (a few small boils) caught around 10 per day . I bet the next 2 weeks the fishing will be excellent !!! Go if you can !!! I have used up all my vacation days.........
