Hey Bassman, whats up with the Jeff or guide "bashing"? I personally have never met Jeff but I have read many of his reports and have found them to be quite helpful when on Big Sam. He is well respected amongst his peers and by the way, do you even know how many teams fished that bass n bucks tourney last Sunday? 288 teams!! Not 288 fisherman, 288 TEAMS! Jeff had a respectful finish considering the conditions on the lake and the rainfall the night before. He and his partner finished just behind me and my partner. We both had around 10-11 lbs. Just like Jeff, our pattern was screwed up as well b/c of the weather. There were 75 or 80 teams who did'nt even weigh in fish!! Oh by the way, Jeff was'nt the only guide fishing that tournament. There were probably 30-40 people in the tournament with some kind of guiding experience. You sound as if you have a "chip" on your shoulder against guides or Jeff. Hell, I wish I could do it for a living!!! Sometimes you just have to be lucky!!! good fishin'!
