Fished the northeast river on Sunday. Located some good fish at the old campgroud at carpenters point. I was using crankbaits in 5-12 ft of water. I keep changing brands and color. Throughout the day. Me and my partner caught and released. 17 fish between 1.5 and 5.2 pounds. Burn them down and keep cranking steady was the retreive they wanted. Moved back in the river to the rundle train tressle and caught 6 more on spinnerbaits. I like fishing this time of the year. The competition is nill.
