Put in at Kellog Creek went to the nearest brushpile, caughttwo three pounders right off. Continued to fish any visible brushpiles in the area, fished all the way to Little river caught 12 spots and one large mouth using a jig and shadrap.My partner that day caught a striper that weighed in at 16.9 lbs on a shadrap, believe it or not. man what a fight,took us about 20 minutes to tire him down enough to get him in the boat.See , he was throwing the shadrap on a light spinning reel and 8lb p-line , man that line is great, chased around with the trolling motorand finally got him in and weighed him.
