Date Fished: 1/10/2000
Fished the Butte from the narrows up into the upper lake for stripers along with 3 other boats and no one got a bite all day. We trolled redfins, bomber long-A's, white horsehead jigs, and jigged spoons. The water depth was 10-45 feet and we picked up hundreds of fish on sonar from 20-45 feet. Let me ask a question if I may? How can you tell if the fish you see on sonar are game fish or junk fish? The butte is full of carp and hugh shad.
