Early March 70 degrees with 70's expected through Wednesday. We
arrived at 11:10 a.m. left at 4:oo pm had 5 keepers. Three fish we had
weighed 4-14, 3-12 and 3-3 the others were keepers but I didn't weigh
them. Other guys fished slow but we found fish in reeds with spinner-
baits. No dock in yet so if you have glass you may want some boots.
Water was stained, gizzard shad was plentiful and a couple of guys
had some nice catfish. That was the only other fish we saw out of 10
boats. Seemed like they liked the sun in there face with wind, it was
10-20 Saturday and if you found water 1 or 2 degrees warmer you had a
chance. Picked up 3 fish about 1:15 pm in about 15 minutes. Seems like when the sun started to drop so did your chances, but we did
get one about 3:45 pm. Did find 55 degree water @ 3:30.
