Date Fished: 4/22/2000
Water Temperature: 56
Water Clarity: 6 inches

Fished Craig's Creek Saturday morning. Air temperature was 40-degrees when we launched. River level dropped 1-foot in the 6 hours we fished. Clarity ranged from 6-inches in the front of the creek to mud in the back. Wind was light, but cold, from northeast. Partner caught 1 catfish off a laydown on a spinnerbait. Between us, we tried various-sized firetiger crankbaits, lizards, Bacon Rinds, and spinnerbaits, with only the one fish to show for it. Conditions were about as tough as they can get. Did hear of a few crappie being caught on live bait.
