Water Clarity: 1 foot This covers the past few days of fishing on Easton's pond. I fished from about 4:30PM to 8:30PM for the past few days and had some good luck with the bass. I caught all of them on a dark colored lizard power bait with a Carolina rig. All bass that I caught were found buried in the weeds - no luck in the open but I tried. I actually had several bass take the bait on the cast and hit it on the way down.
Everyone else I saw down there were using crank baits, poppers, etc. but hadn't caught a single bass. Probably it is just too early for those lures. The only other guy that caught a bass was using a dark plastic worm and just dragging it along the bottom. I may try jigging this coming week. Good luck to you all.
