Water Clarity: 2-3 feet I'm here in SW Iowa for a few days. Unfortunatly it was a death in the family that brought me up here. I don't get up this way much these days but used to spend a lot of time fishing the pond my Grandma had owned for many years. I walked up to the pond with my cousin to fish this evening for a while and we shared many memories of our younger days learning to fish on Granny's pond. We fished from the bank with spinnerbaits and caught the fire out of small bass. Caught a few dragging the spinnerbaits over the thick pond weed. None were over 2 pounds and all were just a reminder of many, many great memories while growing up.
