Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater The big spots are biting at bay springs. i took two trips last week with 10 spots that weighed 22 lbs 13 oz. on monday and 6 that weighed 14 lbs 3 oz. on friday. the largest two spots were 3 lbs 4 oz and 3 lbs 7 oz. theses fish are so fat that they are about to burst. all of these fish were caught in brushpiles in 17 to 23 feet of water. i used a carolina rig with live bait and lemon pumpkin finese worms.these fish really bear down when they latch on, so hold on to your rod. most of these fish were caught using very light line, and i think this is the key. i would like to see some posts from anyone else fishing this lake.
