Date Fished: 12/23/2000
Water Temperature: 45*
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Fished the dam area yesterday for 2 1/2 hours. Beautiful day on the lake with calm winds and snow on the banks (though it was tough launching the boat)! Spent the entire time fishing vertical and deep off of bluff ends with the X-16. 4 bumps, 2 keepers in the boat. Both fish hit between 45-48 ft on a gitzit. Fish were lethargic but many were suspended about 2-4 foot above bottom. Few streakers. Water down 40-50 ft. was 1/2 degree warmer than surface temp...! Good fishin'!
