Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished Veterans Memorial Park Lake in Boise the first part of the day. Saw 2 large LM tucked under a tree, but couldn't get to them. No bites all day.
The evening we fished the Wilson Ponds near Nampa. A dry storm was moving through and the wind was blowing 25 mph. Started with TR worm adn inline spinners. When the wind got up the stongest, we switched to pop'r and hula popper. That was the ticket. We caught 5 LM with the biggest being 1.75 lb, 3 others were 1 lb+, and one dink. Fish were caught near scum mats. The dink was taken on a pearl super fluke. Thanks Dave for the info, we will head to Crane Falls Tuesday.
