Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Went back to Wilson this evening. We fished from 6:30p - 9:45p. The water was glassy smooth, so the topwater bite didn't pick up until about 8pm. We caught 12-15 lm. All about a 1 lb, with one or 2 slightly larger. At the start they were caught on #5 rapala and soft plastics. After 8 pm they were caught on surface popping lures. They wanted a fast retreive, otherwise they would look but not bite. I lost an approx 4 lb on a Mann's shadow. On a long cast and soft medium rod, I just didn't set the hook well enough. She came up once, then back down into the grass and pulled off.
We stopped by Lowell Res. for a brief look see. The reports are LM are hitting white spinners in the grass on the southern shoreline.
