Hello Everyone,

Last Sat(9th) I had a few hours to spend on the lake. Fished from roughly 5:00 p.m. til dark. Caught a total of 4 largemouth. Lost another when he jumped. The largest was pushing 2lbs. The problem right now is that the water is still very high from all the rain and the water is slightly stained and muddy in parts. I caught fish in about 15 ft of water using a texas rigged ribbon tail plastic worm. I prefer the color plum but black and other shades of purple also work great. Try fishing drop offs and creek channels next to deep water. Not a real great day but I was pleased. Hope this helps.
