Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Spent the week of 6/16 on Muskrat Lake staying at Lakeside Cottages again on our annual fishing trip. I took my dad for the first time and he had a great time! All species were biting most of the week. Many walleyes in the 2-7lb range were common when trolling the weed droppoffs with a worm rig. Pike were also hitting most anything that was thrown at'em. Also quite a large number of smallmouth's in the 2-3lb range were caught and returned quick to the water since the season was closed on them but...they were a blast to catch! I even boated my personal best SM, a 21"/5.2lber! Rockbass and perch were as pesky as ever too. All in all a great trip! Of course, I will have to throw out the day the winds were blowing at about 40 mph all day! Too dangerous to be on the water.
