  Subject: Lake Lanier, Georgia

Submitted by Jell Granger (ip 152.163.213.214)

Date Fished: 7/1/2001
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

I put in at Lanier Harbour with my wife and son around 10:00. Fished Shoal Creek, Six Mile and around Lake Lanier Islands. Caught 6 spots all on Zoom plastic worms. I hooked a fish around 12:30 and immediately handed the rod to my son. He tried to wind the fish in but the fish was taking line so he handed me the pole. I fought the fish for a few minutes and finally got her in the boat. It was the biggest spot I've caught in years. It weighed 5 1/2 pounds. We had a picture taken at the Dam Store. We got off the lake around 2:00 because of the boat traffic.

Good luck!
