Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater My first report from the great northwoods of north western MN. I fished Sunday afternoon for a few hours in a non specified lake off of HWY 113. The northerns are on! I boated 7 with the largest 4 weighing 11.2, 13.4, 14.6 and 15.1 lbs. Man do they fight! The walleye bite was ok but not real hot. I was using leeches for the most part until I snagged a small perch. As I was dragging it in a 6.6 lb eye hoovered it up. I proceeded to use a perch colored Rapala CD 5 and then I smoked 'em. 9 Total within' 30 minutes. You have got to picture me in my center console jammin to the stereo, hootin' and hollerin', wearing the fish out! These locals didn't quite know what to make of it. What a blast!
