Water Clarity: 6 inches Put in at the North End and fished Skuna Creek. Nada. Water clarity was about 1 foot on that side of the lake, but very little activity on the flats and along the creek. Tried a couple other small creeks with the same result. Lost a 3 pounder at Graysport under the bridge. Ran to a main lake point and nailed a 1, 3 and 5 on a big crank. All three came unbuttoned at the boat. CURSES! Partner managed to boat one 12" fish. I'm now convinced Denny Brauer fishing with his favorite Jig and a backup tube on the deck couldn't pull a single fish out of anything less than 10' of water on the main lake. LOL! All my fish came on big cranks in 10+ range on a drop to 16'.
Still don't know what the river above Graysport would be like. Too chicken to run it without someone who's done it before. From Graysport it looks like the stumps are taunting me to try it though.
