Date Fished: 8/5/2001
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Took the wife and canoe to Hartmann Lake state forest and went bass fishing. I used a 8 inch purple worm and I set her up with real worms and a bobber. I caught at least 5-8 first year bass and a couple of 13-14 inch bass. I gave her my worm and she caught a couple nice 13-14 inchers while I caught some more with a chartruse spinner bait. The lake was kinda weedy so we had to fish the open spots away from the beach. But overall, we were very pleased with the outcome.
