Water Clarity: 2-3 feet What a beautiful day on the water! Just enough wind to make the fish bite. I started with my usual pearl flukes on the weedline, it was definitely on the menu. 6 Largemouths with the largest at 3.9lbs. 4 nice eyes with the largest 5.5lbs. 2 Snakes at 3lbs each. I switched to a Norman deep runner in perch. Trolled out from the weed line in about 20' of water. 3 more Northerns with the largest at 6.75lbs. Trolling south I came up on a rocky point and pounded to eyes for 20 minutes. 6 more eyes with the largest at 5.8lbs. My last cast of the day I through out a 1/2oz chrome rattle trap. Using my 5500 I got a bit of a rat's nest. Just as I cleared the line and reeled it tight i felt a heck of a tug. 10 minutes later I had my first Muskee at just over 10lbs! What a wonderful couple hours of paradise! Back to runnin the biz. Tight lines - Reelguy
