Been a long time since I've posted anything, but finally starting to get to fish regular again since the birth of our little girl.

Wanted to start fishing some of the little, less pressured lakes around, and got exactly what I was looking for. Fished from 6am till 1:00pm Saturday morning, and absolutely loaded the boat with bass. Most all of the fish were smallish(around a pound), but did manage a few over 2lb., and one over 3lb.

Wasted allot of time early fishing buzzbaits and frogs around shallow lily pads, with only 1 fish to show for it. I then went to the deeper end of the lake and started to Caroling rig with watermellon ring fries and centipedes. First cast, caught a fish. Second cast, caught a fish. It continued like this for a couple of hours, till my thumb was about to start bleeding from lipping so many fish. Couldn't get them to hit on crankbaits or topwaters, although the sonar was showing fish stacked up everywhere.

This is a little jewel of a lake for numbers, and even a few decent fish. There are no jetskis allowed, and is not very pressured at all. There was only 2 other boats on the lake all day long. With people practicing catch and release, this lake should stay a very good one to fish for someone wanting to feel a tug on the line.
