Date Fished: 9/2/2001 Fished for 6 hours. Caught several bass, only 7 were of legal size. Biggest was close to 5 pounds. Caught several fish in the 13" range on a black spinner bait 1/4 oz with colorado blade. When I decided to perch fish with a beetle-spin that's when I started cathcing the bigger bass! The beetle spin must mimick something the bass are feeding on. I was fishing a 1/8 oz beetle spin black body with splittail and a chrt. stripe on it. Fish all came from 12-15' depths near weeds. I just slow rolled it and BAM! Good Luck to all. p.s. Didn't catch a single perch!
