Date Fished: 9/5/2001
Water Temperature: 70
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

I met John at the ramp at 5. I pounded the weed line with the trusty perch crank. John was busy live baiting for eyes. I caught 4 lm with the largest just under 3 as well as 1 eye a little over three before he finished rigging a leech! John decided to give crankin a try. I gave him one and on his first cast he landed a 5.9lb eye! I believe I have converted him. Total was 6 LM with the largest at 3.4lbs and 6 eyes with the largest at 5.9lbs. One Northern just under 5lbs. Not bad for an early hour and half on the water. Tight lines from the Northwoods - Reelguy
