  Subject: Alamo Lake, Arizona

Submitted by Jwoods (ip 12.21.100.182)

Date Fished: 11/11/2001
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Weather was wonderful, almost too hot in the day and perfect at night. Fished a small club tournament and even though the weather was great, fishing was tougher than expected. Only had one boat with limits for two days. Drop shot seemed to be technique of choice. Aarons magic 4", worked well as did other darker worms. Some caught reaction fish shallow early, but most of the keeper fish came on the worms. A ton of small fish in the lake. Spent most of the day working through the small fish to catch keepers. Seemed most fish came below 20 feet when it came to the keepers. Big fish for the tourney was 18" plus at 3.4 pounds (long and skinny).
