Subject: Stick Marsh, Florida

Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Came down to fish the "Stick Marsh" during Thanksgiving Holidays. I've been reading reports from Jim and George so I tried what they were doing. Started at the SW corner of the Stick Marsh and headed north throwing "chug bug". Caught 4 the first hour with the largest going about 4 pounds, missed several others. After that nothing else for an hour or so. Went to the gates and found a crowd. They were catching a few but not tearing it up. I did see a couple of 5 pounders caught with shiners near the sign. Went back to the West side of the Marsh and headed south of fishermans shack. I threw a shallow crank bait and caught about 4 more in the next couple of hours. Going back tomorrow. I got to the ramp early this morning there must have been 20 trailers in the lot. Lots of crappie fishermen(caught two on crank baits) and airboats. Anyone have advice drop me a line tonight or post a report.
