Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Started out on this extremely windy morning around 6am. Shortly after making several cast I was able to land a 3pound largemouth on a black titanium stanly wedge spinnerbait. Fifteen minutes later I was fortunate enough to land a 5 pounder on the same lure. This was only the third bass I had cought that had reached the 5 ilb lunker status for RI fishing waters. About a half hour after I landed the biggest bass of my short bass career. A solid 6 pound largemouth with the girth that would make even Jimmy Huston proud enough to smack his lips on to her and give her a kiss. Fished for another hour and was skunked, but was easily the best day on the water for me. Between me and my partner we were able to pull in 5 largemouths weighting a total of 20 pounds. I wish I could say that it was no big deal, but I would be a liar. Spend 3 hours on a bassboat and come up with those numbers and you will forget that you are in Rhode Island!
