Water Clarity: 0 The bite was pretty slow, and the river was full of drift wood. Fished the lower end from 9 am-3pm and mainly looked for the clearest water I could find. Caught one 4# on a spinnerbait in trees on the second cast of the day; 1 3# and 1 2# in the weeds with a jig and pig. Once the muddy water got worse in the creek, the bite totally shut down. I saw a lot of people hitting pockets of weeds on points and a lot of driving around looking for fish. If the weather stays like it is and the water clears up the fishing may pick up.
