Water Clarity: 2-3 feet we held our monthly tournament on deerpoint saturday, with 10 boats.a chilly cold front had passed thru the day before and made for some tough fishing, but someone always finds them. my partner and I started out fishing a prespawn area that had produced some nice fish a week ago but not this time. we had to regroup and go deeper using worms and lizards, we took 4 bass to the scales about 1-2 lbs each. a total of 65 lbs was brought in with 5.11 lbs as lunker fish. we each missed a nice fish near the boat that would have been 4-5lbs each, but just wasn't meant to be. almost all fish caught for the day came off of lizards and worms and a few off spinnerbaits, most fish were between 3-10 feet of water. all in all it was a good day to be on the water!
