Water Clarity: 0 Fished Saturday in our local club monthly tournament. About 10 boats participated with a total of about 20 persons (more or less). Fishing was tough. Started out nice (cold of course), but in the afternoon the wind came up. We tried everything. Only thing that worked was crankbaits. My 'partner' hooked several on a small to medium crankbait, charteuse with a touch of orange on the belly. Most others that caught fish reported crankbaits were the key. Most colors were 'tiger', clown, or chartreuse. Lake is VERY LOW. Little or no cover. Many boats 'high and dry' unable to launch. One limit weighed, with the big fish almost 5#. Most others caught 1-2 fish, that weighed. First time to lake - fished up near the trestle and within 10 minutes of their (down the lake).
