Water Clarity: 0 The majority of the fish are locked on beds all over the lake. Water is extremely clear, the main lake from Kimberling to the dam, clarity is anywhere from 15' - 25' as you go closer to the dam, mid James probably 8'-10' clarity. Some beds are in deep water, up to 12'-15' deep in some areas, so many fish are on beds. We are going in to the same areas where the fish are spawning, and split shotting a french fry or 4" finesse worm, with out the split shot. Instead we are using a nail in the worm, so it sinks slowly, and fishing it very slow, around 6'-8' deep. Some of the fish are spawning as deep as 19', because of the water clarity.The big bite is definitely sight fishing for the bigger bass.
