Water Clarity: 0 Houston Big Bass Club fished their February monthly tournament on this lake. Althought the weather conditions were nice, low 40's morning and mid 70's in the afternoon with blue-bird skys, the fishing conditions were not so nice. The water conditions were poor. The lake is muddy from run-off, thus limiting visibility to zero. Lake temperatures ranged from 74 degrees around the discharge to 65 degrees north and south of the discharge. We had approximately 10 teams which translates to 20 anglers. The first place team weighed 4 fish for 9lbs, the second place team weighed 3 fish for 7lbs and the third place team weighed 3 fish for 5lbs. Most fished were reported being caught in less than 5 feet of water on a variety of baits to include: spinnerbaits, rattletraps, crankbaits and flipped/pitched soft plastics.
