Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished Ivie with a couple friends this past week. Thursday started off good had 3 nice 3-4lbers in the boat in just a few minutes fishing a road bed on the main lake. Buddy had one nice fish and the other boat had a few nices ones as well. Headed to the north Island around noon. Missed a few fish, buddy tied up about 20 feet from me and caught two or three in a about ten minutes. One over 11 lbs. 26 1/2 inches long. Beautiful Fish. Then the wind started blowing and let me tell you the weather can turn in a hurry on Ivie. Well the fishing was over around 2:00. Spent the night thinking about fishing. Friday started out 28 degrees and wind blowing 7 miles and hour out of the east. Same buddy caught another one over 10 pounds and I have a couple smaller one. I had one just under 8lbs. All in all nice trip. Wish the weather would ahve been better. Heading back to Ivie in April.
