Water Clarity: 0 Fished Dunlap with a buddy this weekend. Had a great trip catching around 15 or so small fish. My buddy Dave landed a 6 and a 4. He did manage a foul hookset on a monster that doubled him over enough to wake us both up then pop free. We were fishing watermelon/red flake 6" "Zooms" Florida rigged around the insides of lillys focussing on bank structure like docks or laydown trees. A splitshotted fluke seemed to be to their liking as well. The bite was great most of the day being that it remained overcast late into the day. Met a fellow angler who was quite polite and enjoyable to talk to. Can't really beat good bass conversation. Once the sun broke the punks in Daddy's ski boat came out and thrashed the lake. Their lack of courtesy leaves a sour taste in ones not to mention nearly swamping a few smaller bass boats. Overall it was a great experience. You just can't beat a day on the lake with good friends.
