Water Clarity: 0 I fished 5/8-5/10 in the overton area. The lake has dropped another 6 feet since my last report. The latest report I've heard is the lake is to drop another 6 feet by November. The first day the wind blew until noon so we got a late start. However the striper fishing is excellent. We caught 75+ stipers in 40-50 feet of water using anchovies. About 4 pm we went up into the overton arm to try the largemouth. Not much water left up there. We caught 5 nice largemouth the biggest being 4.2lbs. All largemouth were caught on a white and chartruse spinnerbait in about 5 feet of water. The second day we got out about 6 am. Three of us caught 125+ stripers. Only fished for largemouth for about an hour and caught 3 nice fish on spinners. The third day the wind started to blow early in the morning. To windy to fish largmouth, which was are plan, however we caught 57 stripers and three catfish in three hours of fishing. The largest striper of the trip was 4.7 lbs. Decided to come in early as the wind got worse. Got pretty wet on the way in. Most stripers were in the 2-3 lb. range. Until next time good luck.
