Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Had a great trip to Fork for my group's annual trip for Memorial Day weekend. We got into some big fish (8.4, 7.5, 6.6 numerous 5+ plus a 10+ and 8+ off at at the boat) throwing DD22's on the Little Caney's main lake hump. We were 8-10 feet throwing into 2-3 out from the lilly pads. When the deep diver hit the hydrilla I eased up on the crankbait and worked it like a worm until it got to deeper water then resumed cranking. The big fish hit it like a freight train when it was darting into and out of the grass. This worked until the wind died. We then had to switch to carolina rigged fries in the grass. This produced but the action was much slower and the fish much smaller. Never thought I would wish for wind so bad!!!! Plus with the wind you don't have those nagging knats that were almost driving my fishing partner and myself to suicide!!! It looked like I had pepper all over my legs and arm!!!!!
