Spent two days after Salmon in the Salmon River downstream from Riggins. We got a 25,17& a 15 pound spring Chinook, which were the first I'd seen. Quite a thrill; beautiful scenery, lots of deer and raptors. Sunday we fished the Snake in the Birds of prey area, again, beautiful scenery, and we actually saw a Golden Eagle setting on its nest. We caught lots of Smallies, but no big ones.

A thoroughly great trip for my first visit to Idaho
