Well summer time is here with all the boat traffic and fun. We are still catching stripers over 10 lbs. fishing early and late in the day when the lake isn't as busy. The stripers are scattered from the dam to Minooka but fishing live shad 28 to 42 feet will produce fish when they are in the mood. I saw a huge school of white perch with a few stripers mixed in on top for at least 20 minutes a few evenings ago, didn't try to fish them as I was waiting for bigger fish, but I am sure a small bucktail thrown into the school would have produced a few fish. Good Luck
