Date Fished: 6/23/2002
Water Clarity: 1 foot

First time at Duff pond, disappointing to say the least. Algae covers the entire pond. May have been good to fish in the early spring but impossible now. Fished one hour and caught one (12 inch)LM on a purple worm, Texas rigged to keep from snagging. One thing that looked promising was all the bass hitting the surface. Would've been excellent topwater fishing, and this was at about noon! But they were doing this in the middle of the pond, which you can't reach casting from the bank, and I would'nt take a float tube in that slop. I don't think I'll come back unless they fix that algae problem.
