Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished TnT out of OH Marina. 44 boats. 1st place had 8 something, and 3.90 was 5th and last place money, big fish was a 5+. Lucky for me tonight we placed 5th......Finally a chance to get my some of my hundreds back. Only 2 keepers right at 15". We caught about 20 shorties largemouth and smallmouth.....everything was on plastic. I had light colored(pearl white)grub, partner had dark(red shad)worm. My keeper hit in 6' of water on a rocky mainlake point. Partner had most of the fish tonight, I think I only caught 5 fish, one of which was a smallie that just missed 14". Near shad schools or cover....docks, laydowns, grass. It was HOT and HUMID. I had to wipe my sunglasses off about every 30 minutes so could see. Had fun but we are still looking for some big fish in this heat. Isn't everyone? Stay safe out there on the water and watch out for seadoos after the sun sets. I have seen/heard several in the last week or so WAY after dark. I need to keep TWRA or Coast Guard numbers on my cell phone and call next time one wizzes by.
