Date Fished: 8/9/2002 Started trolling for stripers about 2:00 in the bay just north of Vann's Tavern. No luck there; so, we moved north to River Forks and we also tried the river channel at markers 52, 54 and 56. We had no success at any of these places. Returned south at 5:30 and boated six stripers ranging from eight pounds to eleven pounds ten ounces in the main river channel south of Mud Creek. All fish were caught on white jigs with chartreuse trailers in 90 to 120 feet. Boated the last striper at 8:10 P.M. Got broke off two times. Will be switching to 27 pound leadcore and 20 pound leader for the next trip. If you are going fishing tomorrow, remember that Poker Run starts in the A.M. and ends sometime in the afternoon. tb
