Date Fished: 8/17/2002 Caught 5 largemouth and just missed several others in a couple of hours of night fishing. It was pretty bright with moonlight. It had rained hard earlier today and I didn't think there would be a bite. I tried several things before finding the winning combination. I was catching on a yellow buzzbait ticking along the top of the weeds about 10 feet offshore. If I could cast over the right place, I'd usually get the bite on the first cast. Strangely, if I didn't get a fish in the first five casts, I wouldn't and I'd have to move. I ended up moving every time I caught a fish. Maybe they were spooky. Have fun!
