Date Fished: 8/25/2002
Water Temperature: 82
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Put in around 6:00am at Vans Tavern. Fished hard all morning, ended up in the main channel outside of 6mile. We fished on the humps instead of in the deep channel and were about to pack it in when I saw a lonely fish on the finder. Dropped down to 20 feet and 5 mins later had a monster on. This fished fought like crazy. 20 minutes later, my partner and I managed to get him in. 24lbs, 39inches. Made the day. Caught a 27lb in May and this recent fish was twice the fight. Can't wait till the temp drops and the topwater starts. Tight lines.
