Date Fished: 9/2/2002 Anyone know how the fish are biting at the DMACC pond? Also, there is a very small pond right off of exit 90 on I-35 North. To get there, once you get off on exit 90, turn right, then take the next light where you can go right. Follow it down abou ta quarter of a mile, and on your LEFT side you will see a small pond w/ a fountain in it. It is referred to "caseys Pond" because it is rather close to where the Caseys trucks load up. if you go all the way to the airport you have gone too far. I have fished there on several occasions, both in the early a.m. and in the evening. the largemouth out of this pond are excellent! The 1st time I went I caught 3 14 inch bass that put up a great fight using cheap Wal-Mart bought rubber worms. the pond is very murky, so I used dark purple worms which they hit on like mad! if you have a kid who has yet to catch his big fish, I would suggest going there. they will be almost guaranteed a great catch!!! By the way..the pond is catch and release... Thanks....
