Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished my nemesis...again. Keep beating my brains out at this lake. Fished at sun up...no bass topwater bite early...tried spinners and shallow runnin cranks over the tops of some weed beds w/no luck...moved on to submerged brush and logs...nothing...finally pulled a 2 lb. smallie with a suspending crankbait a foot deep just off the cliffs on the Tetilla Peak side. Didn't retrieve the bait, just let it sit and twitch. I continued using slow to no retrieve speed rest of the day...missed one other smallie on a white in-line spinner. No others strikes. Suspect fish were in much deeper water. Alas, I have no boat. LOL
