Well, if you all want to see what I have been writing about you can on ESPN-2 this Friday Oct. 25th at 11AM EST on a show called "Fish ON." We filmed this show in July and this action is what you can expect with "The Hawghunter" Capt. Frank Carbone. The average days catch is between 15-30 Peacock's mostly in the lb. range and a handful between 4 - 6 lb. Tara & Scott have experienced what so many have in the past, the hard fight and attitude this scrappy South American Bass has. The best part of it all is that you don't have to go out of the country and spend thousands of dollars to catch them. South Florida is a year round fishery for the Peacock Bass. The best months are the hotter ones, the spawning season begins in late February and last as along as the weather stays hot and sunny. Even in October we're catching 30 fish up to 4 lb. as Buddy Frances & Thomas Brown found out last Saturday on the 19th. And the day before Roy Sanders & Joe Panzarella from Sarasota, Fl. catching 24 Peacock 's & 4 largemouth. So set your VCR's for this Friday and see the action that South Florida has to offer. Capt. Frank Carbone Guides 7 days a week and waiting to take you on your next fishing adventure. Good Fishin.'
