Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater We decided that we have had enough with the stick marsh this weekend. We figured garcia has'nt been reported on maybe nobodies been fishing there. We arrived there at 2:00 and caught a pickrell on the first cast. Not only was it a bad sign because i put the first fish in the boat, But the fact it was a pickrell scared us even more. We spent most of the day fishing hydrilla beds on north side of the lake where we use to do real good, a few nice ones here and there. Fish size was much better then the stick marsh has been. But bites and hook ups were few and far between. We fished the canal that runs into the stick marsh couple hits and 2 fish later we headed back to the lake to find the pit. On the way we found some lillies and i wanted to give them a try so we stopped and fished for a little bit and out came a 4.2lbs bass on a cinnomin slug o. It was a real slow day. Fishing should start to pick up here in the next couple of weeks. Garcia is crystal clear and the water is up.Water temp was 65 to 68 degrees. We managed 7 fish for the day and only 1 pickrell.
