Fishing is great on Table Rock and getting better. Friday I had a Guide trip with Jason Baird and his friends pre-fishing for a up coming tournament. We caught lots of fish with around 18 keepers. Including a 4#,5#,and one of the largest bass I've seen on Table Rock Lake in a long time, a 8 pounder! The next day I fished the Heartland Elite Tournament with a top 5 finish. I got to cull through 14 keepers that day. Most of the fish came in the back half of the creeks on channel swings. I was fishing crawdad colored crank bates in less than 5 ft. of water. On Sunday one of my guides Norm Boles and Marty Conrad fished the Central Pro-Am's MoArk buddy tournament. The fish changed a bit on Sunday and would not take a crank bait. So they switched to a purple back chartreuse sided Lucky Craft jerk bait, and had another top 5 finish. The fish are moving every day but are staying near the channel swings.
